Sea Star on Raw Silk Necklace by Kara Yoo
This pendant was hand-carved out of wax based on microscopic images of individual grains of sand. Kara loved the idea of magnifying these single grains of sand as a token that there's wonder all around us, we just have to take the time to look.
Each pendant is cast and hand-finished in their Vancouver studio.
The charm is strung on raw Chinese Habotai silk cord, hand-dyed in the USA. Please allow for differences in the colour of the silk as it is hand-dyed.
